This is one of my favorite pieces. This is a piece that I've worked on for three years now. when I'd first received the canvas there was already an image of a tree painted on it. It looked as if it had been done a while back and then just left to sit in an attic or a garage. I couldn't decide if I should just strip the canvas or just paint over it. Then it hit me..... finish the painting! I began laying layer after layer of paint to this previously own canvas. I used many techniques from just classical painting with a brush to using a knife down to spray paint. This has been one of those pieces that I am not sure if i ever will feel as if it is completed. When I look at it I can see it changing with the seasons.
